About the Role

Plasmidsaurus is looking for a highly motivated and scientifically grounded Marketing Program Manager to develop and execute marketing programs that align with our growth strategy. If you’re passionate about science, sequencing, and marketing this is the role for you. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be the expert developing campaigns and channel strategy to achieve our customer engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Program Strategy & Planning

  • Strategic planning: Develop multi-channel marketing program strategies that align with broader company objectives, including new customer acquisition, customer retention and revenue growth.

  • Campaign development: Manage all aspects of a marketing program from conception to completion, including brainstorming, content creation, and deployment.

  • Program leadership: Align with the overarching Marketing strategy, define program objectives, and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.

  • Budget management: Oversee the allocation of budget for various marketing initiatives.

Content & Campaign Development

  • Scientific Storytelling: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop benefit-driven customer positioning and marketing collateral, including application notes, white papers, case studies, website copy, and blog posts..

  • Project coordination: Oversee individual marketing projects within the program, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This involves managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Deployment & Reporting

  • Channel strategy: Identify marketing channels that effectively reach our target customer segments in global regions. Monitor performance of marketing programs deployed across channels. Optimize marketing spend across channel mix to maximize impact.

  • Performance monitoring: Set, track and analyze campaign performance against goals, using data to inform future strategy.

  • Reporting: Communicate program results and insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: A bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, or business management, with a master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP) being a plus.

  • Strategic thinking: The ability to see the "big picture," understand market trends, and connect marketing programs to broader company goals.

  • Analytical skills: Expertise in using data to evaluate campaign performance, understand customer behavior, and make informed decisions.

  • Leadership and influence: The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, manage conflict, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Organizational skills: Strong ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts, including tasks, resources, and timelines.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey strategies, expectations, and results to a wide range of audiences.

  • Adaptability: A capacity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and fluidly adapt strategies as new information becomes available.

  • Technical proficiency: Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (HubSpot), and project management software (AirTable).
